Weekend Workshop – Wall Hangings

Here’s the first of a series of posts about pronto projects that will take no more than a few hours to complete, making them ideal for a weekend or an evening or two. The first appears in my blog for Period Living (click here to read it) but in future they may be published at Period Living or on this site (in fact, just to confuse people, I may occasionally publish them on both sites simultaneously). Either way, all Weekend Workshop posts will be archived here. I hope you enjoy the first instalment.

In the No. 29 – A House in Somerset section of this blog, I’ll be catching up on the work already carried out since we moved in, back in 2009.

If you can’t wait to see what’s going on right now, you’ll be glad to hear that I’ve been given the opportunity to write a blog for Period Living magazine, which will cover (amongst other things) the remainder of the project as it happens.

Around a month after publishing the Period Living posts, I’ll duplicate them here so that a full account gradually builds on this site. There will, therefore, come a point when the past catches up with the present and I can then focus both blogs on the current work, as well as any other topics that take my fancy (or get my goat)!

You can find my Period Living blog at www.periodliving.co.uk/join-in/blogs/robin.Savill
